On the Quirinal Hill<\/h2>\r\nNear the Quirinal Palace, two neighboring churches illustrate 17th-century Roman Baroque architecture: San Carlo alle Quattro Fontane<\/strong>, designed by Borromini<\/strong>, and Sant\u2019Andrea al Quirinale<\/strong>, created by his rival, Bernini<\/strong>. They reflect the distinct style of each artist.\r\nNot far away, near the Palazzo Barberini<\/strong> and its important museum of ancient art, lies the Quattro Fontane crossroads<\/strong>, where each corner is adorned with a fountain.
