The Rioni Ludovisi and Sallustiano extend east of the Spanish Steps, starting from Piazza Barberini. The former is crossed by the famous Via Veneto, an avenue known for its luxury establishments, hotels, and nightclubs. In Sallustiano, which is less touristy, one can see remnants of the Gardens of Sallust, which were extensive in antiquity.
